Cristina was born in Mexico City. She has spent most of her life in the United States, yet retains her Chilanga Sprinkles and from one moment to the next may be either more American or more Mexican.
She Lives in the American Southwest, surrounded by family. She dreams in Spanish and writes in English—-mostly.
